Privacy
What the tax-rate radar stores, for how long, and how you delete it.
Purpose
The tax-rate radar reports proposals, decisions and rejections of the 2027 municipal tax rate for the municipalities you chose in Aargau, Zurich, Lucerne or Solothurn. The basis is the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG).
Data we store
We store the email address, the chosen municipalities, the signup language and the time. No name, no IP address, no BFS number. The rate limit lives briefly in memory and is not saved.
Processors
Vercel hosts the site (Frankfurt region). Neon provides the Postgres database in Frankfurt. Resend sends the email. Sending should leave from Ireland (eu-west-1). According to Resend, account data and logs remain in the United States. The messages contain no further tracking.
Retention
We delete unconfirmed signups after 48 hours. Confirmed signups stay until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing deletes the email address and the municipalities.
Unsubscribe and deletion
Every message contains an unsubscribe link. One click deletes the entry. The List-Unsubscribe one-click header does the same.
